His Holiness the Dalai Lama is in Manchester for three days – tomorrow he delivers a series of talks on non-violence to young people. This morning he gave an intimate press conference at The Lowry Hotel Manchester and I was very lucky to be among the group of press invited along.
It was a really special experience – His Holiness was both inspirational and incredibly good-humoured.
I will add some pictures taken from the conference asap. My own highlight was, just when His Holiness was leaving, when he stopped and said hello – shaking hands with myself and others stood just by the stage. He was so friendly – what a wonderful, electric smile that man has!
